Ann Cameron heals colon cancer that had metastasized to the lungs with carrot juice
“I believe from my own personal experience that carrots can cure cancer – and rapidly, without chemotherapy, radiation, or other dietary changes.” Ann Cameron
On August 1 2013, children’s author Ann Cameron received the results of her latest CT scan that was to check on the malignant tumors that had been growing in her lungs. The results of the scan stated “no evidence of cancer.” Ann had cured herself of stage 4 cancer by drinking large amounts of freshly made carrot juice everyday.
Ann was originally diagnosed with stage 3 colon cancer in June of 2012. She had surgery to remove the mass along with her gallbladder which she said was filled with gallstones. She initially considered having the six months of chemotherapy that was being prescribed by her doctors, but a serious infection developed in the surgical area which postponed this treatment until September. Given this delay, Ann had time to do some research on the side effects of chemotherapy and decided to decline it altogether. She says that since the cancer had not metastasized she did not want to risk further damaging her immune system.
Ann reports that she was feeling good until around November of 2012, when a routine follow-up scan indicated the presence of tumors on her lungs. She had two inch-long tumors between her lungs with many new cancerous spots showing up on the scan. Her diagnosis was now stage 4. The doctors said that radiation treatments would be ineffective but they did prescribe chemotherapy saying that it would not cure her, but that it might give her the possibility of extending her life by an additional 2 to 3 years.
Coincidentally, Ann had lost her husband to lung cancer in 2005 after he battled the disease for 6 months with conventional therapies. She says that witnessing what her husband had gone through with his treatments encouraged her to seek out alternative protocols that might help to heal the cancer without all of the toxic side effects. While researching on the internet, she came across the website of a man that had cured himself of squamous cell carcinoma that had metastasized into his lymph nodes by drinking the juice from 5 lbs of carrots every day. You can read his testimonial here.
Ann decided to try this therapy so she bought herself a juicer, and began drinking the juice of 5 pounds of carrots on November 17. This amounted to about 5 cups of freshly made juice. Ann says that she did all of her juicing in the morning, and then would drink a glass right away and refrigerate the remainder in mason jars to last her throughout the day. Ann reports that she made no other modifications to her diet other than drinking the carrot juice. She continued to eat meat and she did not increase her intake of any other vegetables, nor did she omit having a small dessert everyday. She also reports that she did not use organic carrots, but she did make sure that the carrots were fresh as they still had the greens attached to the top. (CCAR NOTE – if you have a masticating style juicer you can also juice some of those carrot greens as they are very high in nutrients, but I would personally go with organic carrots.)
Ann cautions those who choose to follow this program, “I don’t recommend ice cream for cancer, but I only want to emphasize that drinking carrot juice was the only change I made in my life, besides gratefully accepting prayers and good energy from friends, and asking for wisdom and help from Whoever is up there in the Beyond.” In February of 2013, Ann reports that she began adding Curcumin and a Broccoli Sprout Supplement into her healing regimen.
Carrot juice- Carrot juice contains 20 different vitamins such as vitamin A in the form of carotene, along with vitamins C, D, E, K, B1 and B6, and minerals including biotin, potassium, calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, organic sodium, plus lots of trace minerals. Carrots are also rich in phytonutrients, including lutein, lycopene, antioxidants, alpha, beta, and gamma carotenes, zeaxanthin, and xanthophylls. Perhaps one of the most interesting compounds found within carrot juice is falcarinol, which is believed by scientists to help hinder the development of cancer cells as well as stop fungal diseases from spreading. Many people argue that carrots are too high in sugar to juice but the catch is that they are loaded with cancer fighting properties and the sugar takes those properties directly into the cancer cells.
Tracking Ann’s healing progress
After only 2 weeks of juicing- A PET scan (Positron Emission Tomography) performed on November 27, 2012, confirmed the earlier CT scan and the report states: “Enlarged swollen lymph nodes, containing two 1 inch long by 1/4 inch diameter rapidly growing tumors between the lungs.”
After 8 weeks of juicing: a CT scan performed on January 7, 2013 revealed that the cancerous tumors had stopped growing. There was some tumor shrinkage and there was a reduction in the swollen lymph nodes.
After 4 months of juicing: all of the lymph nodes in her lungs had returned to normal.
After 8 months of juicing: A scan on July 30, 2013 revealed that there were no signs of cancer anywhere in her body.
Ann Cameron wrote a book about curing cancer with carrot juice
She writes: I cured my stage 4 colon cancer that had metastasized to my lungs by drinking 5 cups fresh carrot juice daily. The cure principally comes from the natural carrot pesticide falcarinol, not from antioxidant effects of carrots. (The carrot produces falcarinol and uses it to protect its root from attack by molds and fungi.) After eight weeks on carrot juice, the two rapidly growing tumors between my lungs had stopped growing and shrunk. After eight more weeks, they were gone. My book Curing Cancer with Carrots, describes my experience of curing cancer with carrots. The book is linked to research and medical journals and provides scientific evidence for this cure working. Besides being about the carrot cure, it’s a concise guide to cancer and all its treatments, including how to do reliable online research on particular treatments and what you can do to lower the costs of care. In this book, she also shares little-known research that is revolutionizing scientific thinking about cancer and how to treat it. The research comes from the exciting new field of epigenetics–the study of how chemical switching mechanisms in our bodies change the expression of our genes. Our environment, the foods we eat, and the way we live can silence pro-cancer genes or turn them on, set anti-cancer genes on alert or turn them off.
